2025The myth of the charioteer, or winged chariot, is a Platonic allegory describing the nature of the soul and its journey. The soul is represented as a chariot drawn by two horses and driven by a charioteer who seeks to tame them and balance their forces in its ascent toward the hyperuranion. However, one of the horses often proves untamed, causing the chariot to fall and the soul to be reincarnated in the earthly world, where it can once again resume its ascent toward the world of ideas. This eternal aspiration toward the divine and the immaterial describes orbits that seek to escape the density of matter and the force of gravity, and traces trajectories through different frequencies and temperatures.

While screens hypnotize and indoctrinate minds, a painting can still be an opportunity to project and observe oneself. What animal, object, symbol do I recognize in this cloud? What does it mean and what does it say about me and my path? Being able to look at the same surface every day and always recognize something different is what makes abstract art magical, it is what makes observing the smoke of a bonfire and the shapes described by the flight of birds magical."Art does not reproduce what is visible, but makes visible what is not always visible."

The bee is commonly recognized as a symbol of industriousness, work, organization and collaboration. In addition to nectar, bees collect many other materials such as pollen, water, honeydew and resins from which they then obtain useful and more complex substances. Symbol of harmony and guardian of sacred geometries, the Bee has always inspired me as a perfect example of the way in which living things can act on matter by transmuting it, dissolving it and coagulating it, ennobling it. "To the industriousness of the Bee" is a dedication, a tribute and an invocation. A series of sculptures born from what I collected in the woods and assembled trying to attribute harmony and meaning to them.
